San Diego School of Rhythmic Gymnastics (San Diego Rhythms)
is a year around developmental rhythmic gymnastics and ballet program .We welcome every child and help children to become the best
that they can be. We offer Beginner Classes, Developmental Program, and Competitive Teams training. Our gymnasts are winners of
State, Regional and National championships. Our first priority is a well being and safety of our students. Our goal is to provide an
excellence in all aspects of Rhythmic Gymnastics and Dance arts in a safe, fun, respectful, and healthy environment for all participants.
For the last 18 years we have been offering our program at 2 locations:
La Jolla: Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center (JCC) 4126 Executive Drive La Jolla, CA 92037
Carmel Valley: Boys and Girls Club 3800-A Mykonos Lane, San Diego, CA
Our facilities are centrally located, have high ceilings and large training areas. We also have ballet rooms, swimming pool, cafeteria,
and large locker rooms.
Transportation is provided from all local schools to the Boys and Girls Club

Rhythmic gymnastics is an Olympic sport that combines elements of ballet, dance,
gymnastics, and apparatus manipulation.
Rhythmic gymnasts perform on a floor with an apparatus, accompanied by music,
in individual or group events.
Women rhythmic gymnastics uses 5 apparatuses: Rope, Hoop, Ball, Clubs, and Ribbon.
Children also perform Floor Exercises.
Men Rhythmic gymnastics uses 4 apparatuses: double rings, stick, clubs, and rope.
Group performances are done without using any apparatus.
