Natalie Test - Ballet teacher

Natalie has danced professionally for many years with such ballet companies as Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Colorado
Ballet, and City Ballet of San Diego. Natalie  enjoys working with children of all levels  and abilities. She has a lot of experience
teaching classical ballet, contemporary and modern dance, and Jazz. She has a strong knowledge of rhythmic gymnastics.
At San Diego Rhythms Natalie is working with competitive team and also is teaching beginner and intermediate level classes.
She  focuses on teaching solid performance.  Natalie has been teaching at our school since 2011.  
Erin Tsukashima -Pre team, Rhythmic Xcel, and beginner classes coach and ballet teacher
Erin began dancing at the age of 3 and received her BFA in Dance Performance with High Honors from Butler University, where
she studied ballet, jazz, and modern dance. As a child, she also competed in rhythmic gymnastics.  Erin is excited to use her dance
and gymnastics experience while coaching at San Diego Rhythms. She is a favorite teacher of San Diego Rhythms Developmental
program students and parents.
She is a USA Gymnastics  Professional Member and is  Safety Certified , and completed U100
USA gymnastics university course.
Erin has been teaching at SDR since 2012
Nicole Minevich
Competitive team head coach and principal choreographer
Nicole was  San Diego Rhythms Level 10 gymnast, who competed  in rhythmic gymnastics for 12 years and has been coaching San
Diego Rhythms team for 6 years. Nicole graduated from UCSD last year.
Nicole has a lot of experience  and patience working with  children. Her approach to teaching based on a strong belief in each child
individual strength and ability to achieve her individual best. Nicole has 6 years of coaching experience, and more than 10 years
routines choreography experience. Nicole took SDR  competitive team head coach responsibility when she was only 17 years old,
and she raised 2 level 10 gymnasts, who she has been coaching since level 5.
Over the years many of her students were  members of Region 1 Junior Olympic Team and competed at National
Championships, have been  members of Youth  Squad and  members of  US Children National Future Stars team.
Nicole has been awarded a title of Region 1 Coach of the year 5 times in a row.
She is a USA Gymnastics  Professional Member and is  Safety Certified, and completed U100 USA gymnastics university course.
Margaret Misyutina - Rhythmic X press and Pre Team coach, and team assistant coach.
Margaret is San Diego Rhythms former student. After retiring from competitive sport she started to teach in our school.
Margaret is a high school student. She has a talent working with children, and she is sharing her love of this sport with them. She
is a USA Gymnastics  Professional Member and is  Safety Certified , and completed U100 USA gymnastics university course.
Sofia Minevich -  Program Director and Head Coach, USA Gymnastics Rhythmic Region 1 Administrative Chair
She is a former  rhythmic and artistic gymnast  and a  figure skater. She was competing in artistic and rhythmic  gymnastics for her
college in Russia and was teaching rhythmic gymnastics, ballet, dance, and sports aerobics to children and adults. In 1997 Sofia got
her credentials in teaching rhythmic gymnastics from Moscow Sports Committee. She also worked as a preschool teacher for many
years. Sofia has professional dance and ballet training. Many of her students were members of Children National Team - Future
Stars, and  members of Youth Squad.  She is a professional member of USA Gymnastics, graduate of the USA Gymnastics
National Safety Certification Program, KAT program, and is CPR and First Aid Certified,
and completed U100 USA gymnastics
university course.
Sofia is 2011, 2012 , 2013, and 2015 Region 1 Coach of the Year

Anastasia Proshkina -Competitive team coach.
Stacey is San Diego Rhythms former student. She is attending  U
CSD, and is teaching our very young students,
as well as team level athletes.  Stacey is USA Gymnastics  Professional member, safety certified, and completed U100 USA
gymnastics university course.
Sofia Schugar - Developmental program coach .Sofia has a lot of patience working with our youngest students. She makes
learning fun, incorporating different games into her classes curriculum. Sofia is a USA Gymnastics  Professional Member
and is  Safety Certified , and completed U100 USA gymnastics university course.
She is continuing her education at UCSD
Marina Kukhta
Competitive Team Principal Senior coach.
We are very happy to welcome Marina to our San Diego Rhythms family. She joined our coaching staff in August of 2016.
Marina is one of the most respected and well known coaches in the country. She has 25 years of coaching experience.
She is former Russian rhythmic gymnast and a coach, who received extensive training in rhythmic gymnastics and ballet.
She has Master's degree in Physical Education from the University of Physical Education in Lvov, Ukraine.
Marina has been USA Rhythmic National Team coach since 2012.  
Her gymnast Brigita Budginas has been  a National team member for 5 years, representing our country at many international
competitions, including World Cup. Marina was first primary coach of Natalie McGiffert, who represented our country at Olympic
Games in Rio as a group member.
Marina was awarded a title of Region 1 coach of the Year multiple times. In 2014, Marina received the highest level of coaching
distinction by the USA gymnastics - Master of Sports .
Marina is USA gymnastics professional member, Safety Certfied, and completed  U100 USA Gymnastics university course
Kayla Paraoan - Competitive team assistant coach . Kayla is San Diego Rhythms former student. She is teaching SDR
levels 3 and 4 pre team, as well as assisting with coaching level 6 and up gymnasts. She is a USA Gymnastics  Professional
Member, First Aid and CPR certified, and is  Safety Certified , and completed U100 USA gymnastics university course.  
Madelyn Hirsch - Competitive team assistant coach .  She is teaching SDR levels 3 and 4 pre team, as well as assisting
with coaching level 5
 gymnasts. Madelyn is UCSD student.
